2. YouTube API Services & Google User Data Disclosure
TubeAide uses YouTube API Services to retrieve video metadata, subtitles, and performance metrics. By using TubeAide, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
What YouTube data we access: When you provide a YouTube URL, we access publicly available metadata (video title, duration, public view counts, like counts) and public or creator-provided subtitle tracks to locate sponsor timestamps.
How we use and store YouTube data: Retrieved metrics are cached solely to render the sponsor delivery page. We do not sell YouTube user data to third parties, advertising brokers, or data brokers.
Revoking Access: You can view and revoke TubeAide's access to your data at any time via the Google Security Settings page.
3. Information We Collect Directly
- Account Information: If you register an account, we collect your email address, name, and channel name for authentication.
- Payment Data: Payments are processed directly through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account credentials on our infrastructure.
- Generated Delivery Metadata: Video clip timestamps (e.g. 04:12 - 05:15), brand names (e.g. NordVPN), and custom delivery URL slugs created by you.
4. Cookies and Web Analytics
We use minimal, privacy-focused essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your theme preferences. We do not use intrusive third-party cross-site trackers.
5. GDPR & CCPA Privacy Rights
Regardless of your geographic location, TubeAide provides full privacy rights to all users:
- The Right to Access: You can request a copy of your personal data stored by TubeAide.
- The Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete all your account records, generated delivery links, and cached metrics.
